At the end of each year, Vietnam’s local Creative Circle and VietnamMarcom hold the Creative Circle Big Show exhibition to showcase the best creative work to come out of the local advertising industry from the past year. For the second year running, red | Brand Builders in partnership with VietnamMarcom and, this year, Vietnam Advertising Festival, have created a ‘digital creative archive’ to allow people to view all the work from both the 2008 and 2009 Big Shows.

Due to popular demand of the creative community in Vietnam, the deadline for registration for Vietnam Young Lions 2010 Competition is now extended.
The last day of registration with the entries is on 31st October 2009. This will also help the contestants have more time to prepare for the competition.

On October 2009, VietnamMarcom and the HCM City University of Economy organized and delivered certificates of Marketing Manager, Sales Manager, Brand Manager, Event Manager, Integrated Marketing Communication and CopyWriter for more than 200 students who had completed the training program. These programs are the most interested in recently time - especially young people. So until today, VietnamMarcom has trained the total number of students over 8000, after 9 years from 2000 to 2009.

On 5th, Dec 2008, VietnamMarcom along with The Creative Circle stage The Big Show. This is an exhibition of the best creative work to come out of advertising in Vietnam over the year. This year, the event attracted more than one thousand of visitors with the exhibition of 67 Campaigns, 92 Prindads and 46 TVCs of 20 leading advertising agencies and organization.The event of exhibition is also a nice playground to share experiences, ideas and a good learning environment for local practitioners, marketers, and advertising students in Vietnam.

In preparing for the revising and updating the advertising law in Vietnam, on last 27 and 29 Oct, 2008, a delegate of 5 senior government officers in charge of Advertising from Vietnam Ministry of Culture Sports and Tourism had a study trip to survey the advertising industry in Japan, the advertising regulation and law, the experiences in the outdoor advertising planning and the activities of advertising associations. The trip was so successful thanks to the kind supports and arrangements of The IAA Japan Chapter, Mr.Takayuki Shimizu, Executive Director, Prof. Noriyuki Shuto, Dentsu INC, Mr. Tran Hoang, President, VietnamMarcom.
