Students and Guests 2.jpgNearly 800 students in HCMC attended a job orientation day with special emphasis on marketing, advertising and brand building hled by Vietnam Marketing and Communications, or Vietnam Marcom, at the HCMC Economics University yesterday.

Experts from 14 market research, marketing and advertising companies provided experiences on marketing and market research, customer care management, public relations and brand building and development.

They also introduced job opportunities to students and shared experiences on necessary preparations for making success for those working in the marketing, advertising and brand building and development industry.

This is the start-up event of a job orientation program for students, under which a business-student dialogue will be held annually and participating companies will answer queries of students emailed to them, Vietnam Marcom managing director Tran Hoang said.

“The program will help create a bridge between the marketing , advertising and communication industry and students to increase their job integration abiliy and supply human resources for businesses operating in the young advertising industry:, he said.

In addition, each participating company will receive 2-4 senior students for internship every year.

On this occasion, Vietnam Marcom and the University’s Trade-Tourism Faculty presented 30 full-time scholarships for senior students attending joint courses an advertising, brand management and creativeness for strong brands.
